Starwalker assplodes
It seems the production of Starwalker, the reality show being made by the chaps who attempted to sue us for $42.5 million has gone completely tits up.
The production team has gone completely silent leaving contestants and now it seems, employees in the lurch. One employee Robert Brand who left the show has not been paid for his work and is now dishing the dirt on the show’s executive producer Jonathan Nolan and preparing to sue him for his wages.
One thing that really stood out to me is a comment about the guy who was organizing the spaceflights.
The person confirming the 2 bookings was “Dmitri K. Kumetzov”. At this time everyone at Starsem that I talked with knew of no such person working for them in France.
This is really odd. You see the mysterious backer who allegedly pulled out of their film because of the comments on ZGeek was named “Dimitri A. Khalezov”… odd huh? Oddly too, when we contacted the film company he was supposedly from, no one had ever heard of him as well.

No Aardvark, I would never claim that these gentlemen are charlatans. I don’t think they have the talent to be flamboyant deceivers or persons who attracts customers with tricks and quackery.

Or were they sueing because this guy backed out, but then decided to work with them again, but not on the original project that brought them together? Which would have made the lawsuit silly to claim defamation, or the damages at least.
You know, I just had an idea. What if they are being scammed? Maybe someone who they fucked with in the past, or just some random person created “Dimitri A. Khalezov” and pretends to do business with them, get their hopes up, just to tear them down???
Fuck that’d actually be a sweet form of revenge on someone.

I am completely unsurprised by this turn of events. Poetic justice that they will reap what they have sewn.
Of course, the end result of this too will end up on the net and the credibility of those behind this stunt will wither further as a result.
Given the publicity that Starwalker received, the promises made publicly by the management etc. I am betting that those responsible will probably fold quicker than Superman on laundry day or suddenly the “new management team” will declare bankruptcy and close the project, accepting all responsibility for the associated legal problems before evaporating back into fiction.
That’s not insider knowledge, that is purely speculation based on observed behavour to date.
