23 year old does reddit AMA as he is about to die of cancer. Reddit responds with awesomeness

This. This is why I love the internet. No matter the assholes I have to deal with, the trouble I go through. I am passionate about the internet because it allows good and amazing things to happen.

Last night I was browsing Reddit and I came across a AMA (Ask Me Anything) from a 23 year old kid who had just found out he was not going to make it to his 24th birthday due to an extremely aggressive cancer. It was heart breaking, touching and interesting to see how this young guy was coping with facing his own death. He did his AMA and went to bed.

This morning he woke up to find the users had rasied $27,000+ (and counting still) to send him around the world on one last trip.

The user OceanSkys wrote “I cant breathe. You guys are too much“. I am just glad he was speaking about their kindness.

Now excuse me. I have something in my eye.
