Alan Jones plays the cyberbully card

Broadcaster Alan Jones says his advertisers have become the victims of “cyberbullying” and online campaigns like the one that has stripped him of sponsors should be illegal.

His employer, the Macquarie Radio Network, yesterday took the unprecedented step of suspending all advertising on Jones’s breakfast show on 2GB, after a week of sustained pressure that has led to it losing more than 70 sponsors and advertisers.
The move is a response to a sustained campaign via social media and email targeting businesses that support the program.

It comes after Jones apologised for his comments that Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s father “died of shame”.

Basically people are voicing their opinion about this guy’s scum comments which are not just limited to the disgusting comments about he PM’s dead dad. But also his comments about women and other occasions where he was part of the cause of the Cronulla riots. So there are petitions and campaigns to have him taken off the air and for advertisers to stop backing him. And he calls this “cyber-bullying”.

No, it’s not bullying. It’s people using the internet to voice their opinion. Something that mental giants like Alan Jones and others fail to comprehend. Alan Jones wants your freedom of speech made illegal.
