Just thought fellow zGeekers might get a buzz out of this shot I took a few weeks back. Quite a bit of chopping was required to bring it up to scratch, but I'm quite happy with it now:

That's what got me - didn't think those shoes woudl have been good for riding, though they woulda seriously stuffed her up, especially the left foot for gear changes.
Due to the angle that was taken at it looks like she's got a large lean on the straight before the corner, turning in to early. I know it isn't, but it kinda looks that way at first.
The dirt on the bottom of the bike kinda ruins the photo. You may want to blur out the license plate before posting this again too.

heh, i know her from another forum... were some pretty nice pics in the gallery she linked to :tits: i do concur with young thingy though, i wouldn't really like my plate displayed on a website :D
was actually down at yarra boulevard this afternoon, just giving my bike a bit of a run after performing some surgery on it :flame:
attached is one of my favourite pics of my bike, much thanks to nukie (http://iced.vanillashots.com) for snapping this one :)

I'd be interested in seeing that other gallery - PM me a link if you don't mind.
As for plates being shown, there's no reason to be concerned. Your license plate isn't any harm, doesn't identify you, and is easily seen anywhere in public (therefore is normally considered OK to take a photo of like this). Especially when the owner isn't breaking any laws or doing anything wrong. Still, I'll edit it out later tonight when I get home.

Bah - you're still two wheels short and 4 cylinders short of a real machine.
Forget the straight line, lets go on black ice.

Given that I'm not female, that picture is of just another anonymous motorcyclist (ie. not me). Still, nice try.

Only had this for a few months. R6 prior to that.
I've been riding for years, learned to ride on dads CB150! Been thru a ZZR, GPZ, ZXR, R6 and now the R1.
Edit: Don't you realise that a registration label is strategically placed where it is so it can obscure your numberplate?
"Sorry officer, lot of vibration going on here, musta worked its way up there"
"You realise that speed cameras can't get you?"
"Noooooooooooooooooooooo."

Ha, bikes will cream almost anything short of a race car on any road with a good surface. Not only that but for around 20K you can get yourself a top of the range bike.

That's so funny! OK, here's the explanation...
I (Lurgen) took the photo. The rider is not me. It's a person I met while out taking photos. I gave the URL to my gallery to the people I shot photos of so they could see what I had taken, would be aware it was on the 'net, and could comment/complain/brag/whatever as much as they wanted.
She has posted the link to the pic on another R1 related forum (which I didn't know until I followed that link), which is kinda funny.
Does that help?

i kinda figured you would have given her the url, was just letting you know where it had gotten to already :p
given the url she pasted and remembering your nick from here, it was one of those "small world" moments :)

'02 duder. My first big bore bike. Still trying to get used to having so much power on tap. The R6 was good, but its not this good!
Oh, and you'll probably find coppers INVENTED that tactic. :p

Shallow? Not at all! This is why most guys buy their first bike - to impress a girl (or girls in general).

I upgraded to a CBR954RR when my R6 got stolen. I still miss that bike it went great guns. I think I might have to switch back to a Yamaha in a year or two when all those changes Rossi is making filter down to the road bikes.
I haven't been for a Ride day in quite a while. I think it might be time to head up to Eastern Creek when it gets a bit closer to Summer. Damn there not being a race track in Canberra!
dude, if you check out www.overclockers.com.au/mc there are a heap of canberra riders :) other wise you should come up for a full ride day & bbq for geeks & bikers hehehe

Yeah, the 'busa is a straight line missile but it tends to turn like a tram. I'll try and make it to the ride but won't know for sure until the details get posted.
