  • Police shoot the crazy man holding hostages at Discovery channel

    A man who railed against the Discovery Channel's environmental programming for years burst into the company's headquarters with at least one explosive device strapped to his body Wednesday and took three people hostage at gunpoint before police shot him to death, officials said.

    The hostages — two Discovery Communications employees and a security officer — were unhurt after the hourslong standoff. Montgomery County Police Chief Thomas Manger said tactical officers moved in after officers monitoring Lee on building security cameras saw him pull out his handgun and point it at one of the hostages.

    An explosive device on the gunman's body detonated when police shot him.

    Reddit users have posting items around the story. Including pictures taken by a guy who works across the road. They have even found his website.

      The song is a remake of Heart and Soul which is what gets played as soon as any two people sit down at the same piano. The boombayada bit is just a vocalisation of the intro melody.

      I know what song it's ripping off, this was never the issue being discussed.

      I've never known a piano to make that sound.

      A vocalisation of a sound or melody at least vaguely sounds like the thing it's a vocalisation of, eg: Bow chika wow wow is a loose vocalisation of slap bass found in 70s porn soundtracks & it is obvious how that vaguely associates.

      The intro to Heart and Soul is a four-bar arpeggiated chord progression over (if played in C) Cmaj Amin Fmaj Gmaj. That is precisely what is being VOCALISED (ie a sound made with a voice) during the "Boomdayada" part of the song.

      Now fuck off and don't disagree with me again unless you actually believe you have half a chance of being right.
