Well fortunately for the rest of us you don't get to impose your sense of morality on everyone else... Neither should the ACL. Consenting adults should be able to do whatever they like as long as they don't hurt anyone else in the process. If I want to have a baby and use three people to accomplish it instead of the standard number, the fact that someone else had a baby they didn't want doesn't reflect on my right to do so.

The people I know who have used IVF and paid money out the arsehole would probably have quite liked a bit of help in that regard, but seeing how there's no such thing, they had to pay themselves.

I was thinking from a UK perspective, where a shit load of NHS money goes on 'fertility treatments' and there isn't enough left over to fund boring things like Altzheimer's care. I think in the UK you get your first course of treatment free, may get a second free (depends on circumstance) but after that have to pay for it.
