Kilve beach is awesome, the strata is so twisted and eroded that each of the lines you can see in the photo is the harder rock between layers of sandstone which have eroded. Further up the beach are layers of shale, FULL of fossils.
When I took that pic I was going for the Photo comp, 'captive nature' on the grounds that the natural was captured by the natural....but I'm a shit photographer with good ideas, so I didn't enter it or the others:-)

And yes I am God, looking down on his creation and thinking....'DOH - fucked it again'.

yeah the outline is usually a bit deeper and is more of a tearing motion, where the filler is more of a massage movement and not as deep a needle

1. That's Dad, dancing with my younger sister Gabi at her school formal (18 months ago) He's about 6' 4" and is now 42. I have a theory that I got my good qualities from him, including height, fair complexion and intelligence.

2. A picture of Mum and me at my school formal (3 1/2 years ago). Mum's father was Indian and her mother was British, hence the darker complexion. She's now 40 years old and is the shorty of the family. Unfortunately, I got a lot of bad traits from her, such as large bust (she's had a reduction though), bad skin and quick temper.

3. Gabi (now 19) and me at her formal. She's much paler than me and slimmer than me, and has gorgeous chocolate brown hair and eyes... bitch! (I'm probably about 20 kgs heavier in that pic than the previous one, but TBH I prefer it)

4. Justin, my "big" little brother (3 1/2 years ago) Now 10, a good foot taller (6' 7"ish) and much handsomer. He's the athletic one out of us, and all the girls at school swoon over him (though he's too thick to notice)

5. Joe, my "littlest" brother (1 year ago) Now 13, is the only one to inherit Mum's complexion. Sweetest kid ever, I don't think he's ever been mean to anyone in his life.

As you can tell, we're very much a mixture... I once asked Mum if we were all Dad's, but she wasn't too impressed.
