It's not working because the URL doesn't link the .jpg directly, save the file to your hard disk and use the attach file option.

Same thing happens to my webcam.

In daylight it works fine. But at night, under artificial light it always turns up yellowy like your pic.

I think it's something to do with artificial light not being pure white or some scientific shit even thought our eyes don't notice.

In digital cameras one essential thing is the white balance. I'm not exactly sure how many cameras let you adjust it but I think most of the new ones should have at least a few predefined modes if not a manual mode. My PowerShot A70 has modes for automatic white balance, daylight, cloudy, tungsten (incandescent), fluorescent 1, fluorescent 2 and manual. In manual mode you point the camera at a white surface and it measures the current balance according to the lighting conditions. I'd be willing to bet that the yellowness in Bishi's picture come from being taken in a shady place. Indoor lighting is usually not enough for a camera unless you have a long shutter time and a tripod to go with it.

See the difference in these two pictures that were taken only seconds apart but with a different white balance:

I'm not sure how one could remedy it afterwards, Photoshop might have an option to adjust the white balance or color temperature of a picture. Maybe you could find a similar option in your scanning software, kleph?

Yes, white balance is important in all photog. I didn't know digital cams had that adjustment. Thanks for the infor! and yes, the yellow is from lack of light and high speed shutter. I like direct sunlight and deep background shadows. Most times you can "prop" them. White balance is not that difficult thing nowadays on cameras. You know those stupid icons...clouds, sun, sun behind clouds...
