*Now Edited, for added coherence*

Not really, I just find that particular song funny.

The Dillinger Escape Plan are cool. I felt their particular brand of Jazzy Grindcore insanity was worthy of it's own thread. Unlike 99% of bands that play this style of music they actually seem to know what they are doing and are able to craft a jumbled mess of sounds into something worth listening to on repeated occasions.

Express your concurrance in the form of a response.

I heard that most of them actually went to the Berklee School of Music. I certainly believe it, because their composition is very refined, calculated, and complex.
My suggestion for any Faggot (anyone who likes The Dillinger Escape plan) to listen to the Japanese duo "Ruins". It's tough to find, but worth it.

Here is the token AMG link (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&uid=CASS70307120040&sql=Bya9fs32ia3pg) .

I recommend the songs Destro's Secret, Calculating Infinity and Weekend Sex Change from the album Calculating Infinity (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&uid=CASS70307120040&sql=Alk98s33la3vg) or Pig Latin and When Good Dogs Do Bad Things from the Irony Is A Dead Scene (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&uid=CASS70307120040&sql=A8trsa9igq23a) EP with the awesome vocal powers of Mike Patton.

Ruins produce quality music. Other recommendations i would make along these lines include the John Zorn projects "Naked City" & "Painkiller" or the Swedish band Meshuggah.

I'm not a fan of the patton vox'd effort, I thought it made them sound a bit more commericial, especially the music.

you might like these guys as well if ya haven't already heard them.
