And the dog was only the beginning.
After that I my girlfriend broke up with me.
Should've stayed in bed!

Let the dog outside and ring the RSPCA, then tell your mate it got out and you haven't seen it since.

I couldn't lose a Bordeaux Dog and say "Oops, must've missed him breaking through that reinforced steel door..."
Otherwise I might have considered that.

Those monsters are HUGE!

You can lose anything if you try hard enough.

He (the dog) spent the first two years of his life in a cage, so he's having just a little trouble living in a house with 13 people. And two other dogs, and six cats...

that's not the RSPCA's area unless the animal is injured :)

WTF??? 13 people, 2 dogs and 6 cats????

shit!

well, get rid of the cats for a start, then maybe get rid of the people. You and the 2 dogs should then be fine.

It's a big old building...
A fortress built in 1869.
So there's enough room for all the animals and people. (We have six Polish people staying here as well.)

Well, Tyfus ... I reckon a couple more hardships and you got yourself great blues song material

"well my baby left me,
she upped and went away
and my roommates dog
bit me when i told it to stay

i got the dog bite blues
you hear what im saying
i got the dog bite blues
and no baby to hear me playing"

As much as I love animals. A big dog biting humans is pretty serious. As it is you can probably lay charges and get the dog put down at his expence. But, that is probably not that good for flatmate relations. I think you should have a talk with your flatmate.

That said, I used to have a Rottweiller and she wasn't even a rough dog. She was gentlest animal, I know they can have bad reputations, it all in how you bring them up. A cage is no place for a dog.

The dog seems to know he did something wrong, ever since he bit me he's been reaally friendly, bringing me his saliva after dinner etc.

And I'd never have a dog killed for anything like this... And especially not on the expense of one of my mates. (squatters are generally quite poor.)

My (ex?-)girlfriend just stayed over for a couple of days... I've got a good feeling about it. The blues has left my life for the moment.
