when i was in high school, there was a couple who took care of our dorms.
To tell u the truth, they were really wretched~ they had one son who served in the army, but he lost his life in the flood while saving others' lives.the other son they had was a former employee in the school;he was killed in a car crash... it was extremely crule to any family ,let alone to this old couple. however, we could always see smiles on their faces, and they even told jokes sometimes.honestly, we were really scared, and we suspected that maybe they got schiz because of those anguishes.. "are they insane?" ....
one day, someone that had just broke up with her bf couldnt help asking them "why are you always smiling?dont you think that you have had enough suffering?"
the man hesitated for a while, then he answered with the same he had before," we do feel touturous, but does it help if we keep feeling painful or being sad?they've gone, and gone forever no matter how much we want them to be back.. god bless us that we are still alive by far. at least,we still have each other here, and isn't it much better than being alone by oneself? we cannot complain too much..."....
truely, facing our lives, time passes when we are happy;time passes when we are sad...so why not be happy, see what we've got and cherish them, and let the happiness goes on...
Life is pretty fucking depressing at times. I find you really have to just look forward to the good times and accept the bad.
I'm considered a fairly optomistic person, but even I have times when I'm depressed. Having someone to share your life with and support you makes a big difference.

I think I have posted my theory before but here it is again for the newbies:
Life is a series of ups and downs. You have to have the lows so you can appreciate the highs.
When ever my life is sucking I try and convince myself that some thing really good is going to happen.

I shy away from hapiness. It is so much easier to me mildly sad all the time. Being happy only makes me realise the sadness that will eventuate.
I'm a sicko.

Exactly my point...OK; I should have written "DON'T those etc etc"
instead of "Aren't" but it was still understandable.
See what I mean?
Pedant = Person who understands what I mean but makes a fuss about my imperfections; Have you NEVER made a grammatical or spelling error?

yes, i've made errors. but never so many together that it makes something completely unreadable.
and it seems as though you still haven't seen the problem with your previous statement. perhaps you should read it out aloud to yourself for a while. maybe when you get it, we can continue our conversation. but if you don't, then i'm afraid i don't have the strength to debate with such an intellectual giant* as yourself.

if you can read it to yourself aloud, and not notice a problem, there is no point in me trying to explain. please, seek the help of a year 2 school teacher.

Cray, if I'm reading your post correctly, that was aimed at me and my typo. Seriously, I hate bad grammar and incorrect spelling as much as the next person, but people make mistakes.
I'm still not positive it was directed at me, partly because the impression I have of you is a good one. Will you care to clarify it?

Don't worry about it, no matter what you think no one else does. ;)
It makes no difference to the outcome whether you are an optimist or a pessimist, but an optimist has a much better time of it

Getting back on track, thinking about things like this is what makes people depressed all the time. If you live in "the now" you think less about all the things that have gone wrong in your life, how you could have changed events if you did something differently, etc. You feel like you're in control of what's going on around you. But if you dwell on what could have been and regret every little event and occurance, it's seems like your life is on rails, like nothing can change the fact that it sucks to be you.
It's all about frame of mind.

im a pessimist, im always looking for the bad things.
if your expecting to worst then you dont get dissapointed when things dont turn out the way you expected, & your pleasantly suprised when things are better than you hoped.
also the thing that i found hard about your 1st post was that it was all in one block, but thats probably just me

I have to agree with cray ... his critique of the first post was less to do with the spelling than it was with comprehension ... it was a hard yakka read.

I am the ultimate pessimist, something always has to be going wrong. If it seems like my life is good, I've obviously overlooked something. And I'm paranoid like you wouldn't believe.

I did for a sec. But reading your post just then made me realise that you are not too fussy about spelling and grammar either. ;)
This is one of the funniest threads I've read in a while.
Thanks to all involved for a good read.
Regarding spelling and grammar, I like it to be correct, but it's hardly earth shattering.
