No wage justice! =(

This new job has been a revelation for me, people.

In my last job, I worked non stop wrapping and lifting 20 kilo Futons from 4pm to 12:30 at night.. Noisy.. heavy labor.. agony personified.. for $15 a hour

Now I sit in a office in the CBD and sort through hundreds of Yellow Pages, find what I want.. cut it out.. move on.. I can talk to people, im sitting down (mostly), its from 8:30 - 4:30... AND i get payed $16.50

Really. I mean this.. my head cant wrap itself around better conditions and less work = more pay..

Im a happy guy right now. But im also very confused. And also praying like hell I can score more office temp work! I DONT WANNA LEAVE! (bursts into tears)

How's this for wage injustice?

In my last job I was a receptionist, secretary, proofreader, medical typist and file clerk, I worked a 45 hour week, I wasn't allowed to do anything except work 100% of the time, no talking or enjoying oneself.

I got paid the equivalent of $10.66 an hour. And they wondered why I quit :rolleyes:
