unscrew the cover (the inner white circle bit)?

if not, try reversing the install process

there IS no install process :(

Replacement Lights have no instructions on them.

If I recall correctly, the centre white ring is simply a "clip-in" fitting into the outer white ring, and the bulb sits in this centre part. So you need to get hold of the centre ring and pull down to remove the bulb.

If I get a chance, I'll pull apart one at work and take some photos.

Yes, its my light.
The only light in my bedroom infact.
I mean sure, I'm only using my computer at the moment and I dont need a light, but I've got exams coming up and I'd like to have some light for then.

im giving up for the night.

get your fingernails under the outer rim, and pull down. The fixture is being held up there using springs, so be carefull they don't trash your ceiling. WHen you get it out of the ceiling, it should be obvious how to change the lamp.

FYI the fixture is 12volts. you shouldn't get belted.
