I *know* you all know how to flame each other senseless... but HOW GOOD are you on the other side??

This thread is ENTIRELY for the purpose of praising, complimenting, or otherwise telling ppl you *really like* something nice... (so that you can LIVE with yourself when you go to your grave).

I've been flamed so much lately without really understanding *why* that I decided the only way to fight fire is with.... WATER!!!

I never said that everything has to be categorized to suit me. What was trying to point out is that we have to learn how to post in the correct area. The sole purpose to the division of the forum into these areas is to seperate different thread topics into something that doesn't look a complete mess.

Those of us who don't think this thread should be in B&R don't really care what reasons you have for putting it in here. Unless the initial post of the thread contained a rant about the lack of 'niceness' and 'hugs' around here, it shouldn't be here, plain and simple. alright, here's a mods call. this utope/lauraleebug debate is at an end until we get a call on this issue from pirate. i think both sides have made their points in the argument and the posts are veering very much into the personal attack area.

i have sent a PM to pirate and when we get his decision we all can proceed from there. otherwise, go back to the saying nice things which was the initial topic of the thread.

what i am doing is telling everyone to return to their corners until pirate makes a decision about these points. it is abundantly clear the dialouge has begun to spiral into a personal attack flame war and, as a result of the debate about the appropriateness of the forum, i feel it's pirate's decision on if this is the proper place for such a thread and what, exactly are the rules.

since everyone seemed determined to have a final word on this after my warning, the thread is now locked until pirate's ruling is made.
