HELPO.
I have connected an IDE harddrive to a computer with a SCSI hard drive.
I want the IDE drive as the slave. When I connect it, the computer assumes that I want to boot from the IDE hard drive.
I have tried to set the IDE drive as Master, Primary Slave and Secondary Slave, but it doesn't work!!
Can this be done or do I need a new fangled version of bios?

You want to boot from the SCSI? Then change the boot order setting in your BIOS to SCSI first.

Edited for spelling

Is there not an option in the BIOS settings to boot from SCSI?

I tried that.
The only option I have is to boot from C: or A:. If i choose C: then it assumes the IDE drive.

Try updating the BIOS then.
