The New Big Craze - Zgeek the Collectable iCards

I've had this idea for about a month now. But first it started as Zgeek the Card game but i couldn't figure out a good basic setup. So i compt out and said well lets capture what we know about zgeek in little cards and post them on the net for nerds geeks and wieros to collect.what do you think? we could have the founding members as cards. when zgeek was first attacked. some of the unknown news posts that was just to good to place on the first page etc. post in reply of this idea

Hey! Why not? I think that's actually a very *cute* idea... However the executable may be a bit more than you think.... are you talking *really* printing up like trading cards??? J/W... I like it, but...

Me, I was toying with the idea for a few months of like a student film of ZGeek.. After all, it's never been done before, but more ppl than ever are joining websites like this one all over the world.... and in a way; it becomes our world... I thought a nice screenplay would show the dicotomy (sp?) btwn the online "geek" and their "real life" persona... but then again; that shit would take a LOT of work....

However, why don't you hook up with the idea of the ZGirl calander in addition to the cards... may work, why not? I personally would agree to have my body phot0graphed, and mebbe my hair, but not my ugly face....

Iwasn't thinking of printing them up but makeing Icards jpegs or gifs but the ZGirl Calander thats fucking awsome. I'd love to hook up and talk about this and the film idea.

ok ive been away from my computer for a few days now this is the first chance i got to muk up a few proto types for these i use a magic the gathering card generator and then did some after the market modifications tell me what you think

Couldn't a page be generated where you upload a picture and type some text and a card is generated.

I don't have the php 133tness, but I'm sure someone has.

You can grab a copy of the program i use at MSE (http://magicseteditor.sourceforge.net/) its ok and you can easyly re edit the bmp. I'm running around in box i can't figure what stuff i got 2 do. The calander is on the back burner until i can get some info from bug.

Edit: I attempted to make a Dvorak Game based on Zgeek, but it just wouldn't come together. So I tried making a generic forums game where you come up with catchphrases and bastardise them, but it didn't really work.

I will make 50 cards if time is possible i will try to start tonight. Anyone who would like one of them aka themselfs post a picture youywould like for the card and a bio. I will start chuirning them out as soon as possible.
