Ok, I know this has been done before, but it was many years ago, and this was a particularly disturbing dream. I still remember it in vivid detail.

I dreamt I was a smuggler..... guns, drugs, all sorts of stuff

we were waiting for a shipment to come in, and I wandered out onto the dock, and it was coming in really fast...... just about wrecked the dock

it was really weird..... the 5 guys that were the crew of the boat were all physically ok, but they wouldn't say a word, and wouldn't move

we went looking for the cargo when I realised that the cargo was 20 x 12yo girls......

nobody could find them, and I realised that they were all dead......... I couldn't face it, so I walked out to the front gates of the dockyard

as I left the boat, one of the other guys (one that couldn't keep his mouth shut) said "they've all been unplugged, and cor, they fair stink"

basicly meaning that they were rapidly decomposing and had all been violated

the other guys rapidly put some explosives on the boat, turned it around, and put it back out to sea....... one of them shot a rocket launcher at it to detonate it...... with the corpses and the 5 living crew still on it

at this point, I woke up, and I actually felt physically ill from the ordeal.

Sorry for the lack of any organisation to this post, but it all just came out like that.

After I saw the movie Signs I had some pretty creepy nightmares. That bit where the Alien slowly walks past the camera gave me the heebie-jeebies.

I personally am with the Freudian school of dream interpretation. Basically, the dream is trying to tell you you want to have sex with your mother.

I gotta admit Rick - this is a bit beyond me...

The only suggestion I could make is that you feel out of control of something - all the actions in the dream are made by other people, but you feel the horror of their actions as though you'd done them yourself.

All I can say is I understand why you'd be shaken up after that one - a nightmare of the worst type.

Well I'll stick with the Jungian school of interpretation, and say that only you and a psychologist can interpret that dream. ;) But going by the symbols in your dream, it might be said that your unconscious is trying to tell you that your anima (female side - represented by the 12yo girls) is waning, or dying - or perhaps even not fully developed yet.

Wow Rick, that’s some serious shit. Had you been watching some violent movies before the dreams?
The way I understand it, dreams are often a 'recap' if you will of what you have seen, heard and felt during the day, but are not generally accurate to those context in which they were experienced. I wouldn’t worry too much about the implications of the exact circumstances, and would focus more along the lines of what you felt rather than what you ‘saw’.

I don't believe dreams mean anything at all.
they are just random things / images in your head. THey are influenced by things that have happened in your life or book you are reading / movies you have seen etc, but 100% completely unrelated to anything.

I think dreams have some kind of meaning. I think it shows our deeper feelings that we have but won't admit. I noticed this last time had nap.

Or then it could be just some random shit. But hey, that's life for ya...
