Hey everyone!

Anyone planning on buying SOCOM II when it comes out? I'm beta testing it right now and I gotta say with all of the new features it's going to rock!

That is a horrible reason to hate a game and not a very valid one. Lots of guys from countries all over the world play SOCOM and now have moved onto play SOCOM II: U.S Navy SEALs. They havent said anything about the accents keeping them away from the game. I got SOCOM II on release day and just this morning I played with guys online from Canada, Mexico, and one guy in Australia that paid extra to have a game overnighted half way around the world! So I think the game has a much larger reach than you might think.

I am banking on SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs to be Game of the Year and have an enormous overseas contingent that plays online as well. If I am wrong someone show me numbers that disprove my theory.

Well SOCOM II is out now...
After playing it for a few weeks I am highly impressed with the graphics and the addition of the new weapons...

I already addicted to the online play haha also the single player mode is very challenging!!!

What's really funny is what you find when you Google "jonesy22". Chances are that whenever you find a reference to "Jonesy22" on a games forum, the username was only registered in October or November, 2003, only ever makes reference to Socom I or II, only ever makes 2 posts max, and hardly, if ever, gets any replies.

I was particularly amused that in some threads "Jonesy22" will say "I'm beta testing this game and it has new weapons and bigger maps...", yet on other forums, he'll ask questions like "what new weapons are going to be in it and are the maps bigger?".

Based on his past MO, I think it's unlikely that "jonesy22" will be visiting us again any time soon...

until Socom III comes out... ;)

Google also reveals and amazing correlation with vagrantscout, Socom and Jonesy22. A professional, like a psychiatrist, would label it as ad whoring multiple personality disorder. What a life...

LOl this is funny. google does do wonders on anything.

but i can actually say i beta tested the game coz i still have the beta disc. my sig on the ps boards was talored towards the beta disc game. sony had some major spammage when the beta was going on the boards would shut down from time to time.

They did improve on the game though when the beta was out i was always getting booted they changed the auto shotgun to a normal one which was a good idea if u asked me plus the terrorists had the upper hand throught the whole game!!!


Well any mroe questions ask me i know i actually play the game.
