Nope, its not a thread about sex, and any posts about it here will be deleted.
Head vs hand is a discussion some of us here were having as pertaining to the workforce. Which one is more powerful, or useful, etc.
There are those who work with their hands. Be they laborers, tradesmen, tellers, etc
There are those who work with their heads. Programmers, mathmeticians, bosses, philosophers, etc
Some work with both, like engineers.
Which group contributes more to society, or is more valuable or powerful, and all important, why?

Without the hands to build the libraries, all the books would get wet, but without the knowledge of architecture and structural engineering, the work of the hands would fall to pieces, but then, without the hands to build schools, where would the architects and engineers learn?
Chicken? Egg? Aaaaaaaaaargh. :weed:

Havnt you seen Time Machine?
Its the brains. When we evolve into human flesh eating super intelligent goths with psychic powers and henchmen cross evolved from footballers and rottweilers, its the brain that adds most value to society by controlling the pathetic humans and your guards to sustain your evolutionary superiority.

Bosses use their hands more than their heads, if only to wave their cocks around while thinking with their asses.

i have to follow the cliche path that brains beat braun and the pen is mightier and all that.
as for contributing to society i feel they are both equal. anyone that doubts the power of hands only has to look at the power of trade/workers unions, that are forced to strike to show society their worth.

I would say both, but brains are slightly more important.
Some people whinge at me because I will not work hard. They plow into it, and they are tottally rooted after 4 or 6 hours.
I prefer to work smart. I cruise along, sequentially doing things a certain way, and 16 hours later, I'm still going, and I have got 10 times more accomplished than they have.
Brawn as it used to be known (muscle-bound meathead footballer) is a dying breed, purely because there isn't a call for that sort of thing anymore.

yesterday i couldn't spell engineer, now I is one.
Engineers (Hed and hands) definitely.
Engineer: Some who will do for $0.50 what others can do for $1, but it will take them twice as long to do it

But not everyone can involve into the “super” human race, where there’s power there must also be the weak to control, without the weak there is no power.

How very Marxist anti-Bourgeoisie. :)
Hands came before heads, since we operated on unthinking instinct before we ever grew brains, but it was the brains that got us where we are now as a species, whether you think that's a good thing or not.
It's definitely a team effort. :stooge:

Is this the new dick measuring contest? I agree it's a team effort
Both groups contribute to society in different way which makes them both valuable. Which is more valuable, well which one do you want live without?
So many things we take for granted are products of both types of work. What good is the thinker if there are no people capable of mass production? What good is mass production with nothing to produce?
I would have to say people who work with their head are more powerful as they are the decision makers such as politicians. Professionals are more intellectually savvy but there is no way I would say professionals are more intelligent than builders.
The only reason I think these two groups should be separated are for advertising purposes and sexual attraction.

The language of your post implies.. competition ? which is more than the other. I don't think it's a valid question. The relationship between the 2 sides is symbiotic, not competative. Either without the other isn't much good, and thus they can't be more or less important / powerful unless you have an oversupply of one side.
