Good PS2/XBOX RPGs [Archive]

Looking to buy a good PS2/XBOX RPG. Anyone got any suggestions, keeping in mind i'm in Australia? Would be much appreciated, as I usually spend half an hour looking at all the choices, then make a choice that is complete ass.

Get Knights of the Old Republic for the Xbox.

Dark Cloud 2 is supposed to be good for the PS2. As is Jak 2.

Dark Chronicle for PS2 is a very good RPG as it combines other gaming genres into it im already more than 20 hours into it and i have a feeling im not even half way through it

Everquest on PS2 is soon coming out..... if it is anything like the PC version it is the only game you will ever need :)

I don't see why not. It's a good RPG that just happens to be set in the Star Wars universe.

I'm not a Star Wars fan, (actually this game may turn me into one).

It's awesome even if you have no interest in the genre.

Knights of the old republic......Excellent game but has to be played twice as dark and light jedi to be fully understood...and to get all the cutscenes, Damn good game...very star warsy..but I love star wars!!!. I like the last battle but was a little bit too easy and your character cant go higher than level 20.. that was a little shit, ONE other bitch about this game was that you should be able to play after the ending to finish uncompleted quests and just roam around hacking shit up.

BUT AN ALLROUND AWESOME GAME..... ohh and any Legacy of Kain game is good too!!!

Morrowind Elderscrolls3 (Game of the year edition if it is out, due soon)

Excelent RPG, massive in all aspects. If you get game of the game edition then it is based on 3 islands (making it 3 times larger than the original which is huge).

I bought this game for PC a month ago and I have saved sooooo much money due to it compleatly removing all chance of a social life.

EDIT - Note this game is available on Xbox as well. You need an obscene PC to run it, but on XBOX it looks sweet.

Xenosaga is an incredible RPG if you're in it for the storyline....it's for PS2 and it gets you way into the story...if you're not into long cutscenes i dont reccomend it, but it really got me into the whole game....good stuff

Don't think Xenosaga has been released in Aus yet. I'm not even sure they released the PSOne game here.
