Just a quick question re website design.
:swear: :swear: :swear:
I have a website with frames and am now looking to send email with links to different pages within my site.
How do I create an hyperlink that will open a specific page in a specific frame?
Ta in advance.
(After reading 50 pages on the net and not finding the answer, any bit of help would be welcome!)

Not too sure if you can do this with plain HTML.
If you can then it would go along the lines of
web.address\frameset.html#middleframe=thispage.htm l
your frames I assume have some type of name or label which you can referto in your links on the page. I would say use them.
If not you could always use a form handler style. ie email the address web.address\frameset.html?middleframe=thisframe.ht ml
grab the variable miggleframe and set the middle frame to the right page.
Sorry this isn't the exact answer but hopefully it will give you some direction.

If u use Dreamweaver - get the Framejammer extension
if not it is easy to hard code it...
- apply framejammer /code to all pages
your links within the email can then be straightforward ie:
mysite.com/page1 or
u don't need to do this: frameset.html#middleframe=thispage.html
as long as the code is on your website any link to a certain page will jam itself within the frames u have specified.

Does it really need to use frames?
Frames make Baby Jesus cry.
