I dunno what to get my 11 year old sister for christmas. I was going to get her a game Cube and mario Kart because she liked the Nintendo 64 version. But she said she's happy with the 64 and doesn't want a Gamecube.

Then I thought I'd get her some DVDs. But she said she doesn't want anything else electronic (she has a geek for a brother, you see). So, I dunno.

She likes stuffed toys but she already has way too many, like a whole room full.

Any ideas?

A mini skirt from Supre. Every 11 yr old either owns one, or wants one.

Well what does she like??...I mean the standard boy presents obviously aren't it, so what about some books or some cinema movie money (or the local equivalent) to spend when she goes to the movies with her friends or some music (that she likes) or a radio or discman or mp3 thingy (when I was 11, all of the girls loved music and dancing and stuff)...But I suppose it would all depend on what type of girl she is...

Is there anything that her friends have that she is totally jealous of or has mentioned many times??...Obviously buying the same thing would be obvious, but it could inspire something better and cooler (for an 11 year old)...

PS: I want to be adopted because I want DVDs and gamez for Christmas! :p

The safest bet for an 11yr old girl is CLOTHES. And if you are still unsure, take her shopping and just listen to what she says. I am just about finished my christmas shopping. I just have a 15yr old nephew and a niece who is nearly 19 to buy for :(

Shit yeah, get her a miniskirt, much cooler than a gameboy - and cheaper too! Hell, you'll probably save enough to be able to get her one of those cool padded training bras and a naughty little pink thong with a heart motif that says 'Hot' or something rad like that.

My thoughts exactly. A 3 year old in a mini-skirt is sweet. An 11 year old in a mini-skirt is wrong.

BTW, nice sig there, Bishi. :D

The funny looking bloke who won Australian Idol has an album coming out...i'm pretty sure the target audience for that is eleven year old girls.

.. you're in Hobart so take her down to the Salamanca Markets next Saturday .. there are heaps of unusual, crafty presents that will brighten her Christmas ..

PS .. definitely can the mini !!!! .. or else go all the way down and get her navel pierced as well .. "Hey Mum I 'm home from getting sissy's navel pierced ......... "

Gift certificates always work for me. My brother is a game freak. I don't know what games he has, so I just get him gift certificates to his favorite stores (Toys R Us, Blockbuster, whatever). :)

Stop telling her what you're getting her dude.

Yeah, I could buy her clothes. Maybe not a mini-skirt. But then, she already has heaps.

Bifrost's Cinema idea but be the way to go. Or I could take her to mini golf or something.

Thanks for your help guys. I'll write back to tell you what I decide.

Get her self defence classes or somthing, she's at that age where she might be interested in boys, and if she finds the wrong buy, they better watch out.
Or fingerless gloves.

You could always get her an electronic/password journal :D

Or an electronic room controller, I think you can programme 2 electrical devices into it, and it turns them on and off by voice recognition.

There are also Neopets, Micropets or Microbabies(they also have disney character ones)

A subscription to a magazine?

Not Cosmo or Dolly. She can learn about blowjobs when she's older. (Not meant to be a snide comment. I mean she can do without that shit at age 11).
