Note that to get the damn things to work youll prolly need to run dosbox (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1)
...but if youve got bit torrent, youll prolly find a few oldies on suprnova (http://www.suprnova.org)
The only oldie game I still have is my favorite DOS game of all time, Betrayal at Krondor...

I found a pair of CD ROMS a while ago with '1000 PC Games'. Lots of old DOS stuff, mainly rubbish but some good things, e.g. Alley Cat.
Best place for old school games I've found is Underdogs (http://www.the-underdogs.org/)

Oh my. Amateurs. There's only one place you need to go, one of the best kept secrets.. The best abandonware directory anywhere on the web - http://www.cdos.org/
They won't do things that are clearly illegal, but a lot of other places say some of their games are protected, but theyre still available for download at cdos.
But for the Larry remake, go here (http://www.abandonia.com/game.php?ID=170&genre=adventure). I don't think it's hosted at cdos, though I haven't looked.
Remember that, with a bit of patience, you can almost always find what you're looking for by Googling "*Game Name* Abandonware Download". That's what I do when it's not on cdos, anyway.
Enjoy.

But the Dos Window in XP is usually very good. I suppose it's not perfect though.

Usually the graphics in DOS games running on XP work fine, just don't expect the sound to work without Dosbox or VDMsound.
