I had to reinstall Firebird and I'm grabbing a few extensions I need, but I cannot get to the google bar page?

Here's (http://texturizer.net/firebird/extensions/#googlebar) the link to it on Texturizer, but basically I can't get to googlebar.mozdev.org. In fact I can't even get to mozdev.org at all, so I presume it's moved or down.

I don't suppose anyone has a copy of the .xpi, or knows where I can get it?

Edit: Bleh... I just did a Google search for the exact filename (XPI-stable.xpi) and found it. Next problem. Now when I customize what buttons it has, it doesn't remember... I don't suppose anyone knows why?

mozdev is down. fucknuckles. I've been forced to use Mozilla 1.2 all day because I couldn't get the extensions I wanted (needed) for firebird

Ahh, k... Thanks for the heads-up Lujan.

I ended up just deleting the program directory (and the associated folder in my profile) and reinstalling it... but yeah, it's a pain getting all the necessary extensions. Why they left out "Copy Image to Clipboard" is a mystery to me.

There's a distribution of Firebird called "Black Diamond" or something fancy that has a lot of the more popular extensions with it already. I guess the advantage to leaving stuff out that some people deem "necessary" is that it cuts down on the amount of resources the program uses and allows the end user to customise it more. Which iirc is one of the goals of Firebird.

I've added quite a number of extensions to my Firebird installation, and it's so easy for me to use it these days. My dad's installation on his computer is different, and I end up opening tabs "wrong" because of it.

From a clean install, Firebird is a working browser. Anything else is just customisation that you use to make browsing easier or more efficient.
