Thought I'd start a thread on games you may have made in a programming class...

Here's the crappy one I made for my intro VB class this last semester, and as I didn't have an installer, here are the installation instructions...

1) Extract zip file to C:\Robotech\

2) copy the following to your C:\windows\system\ directory
c:\robotech\multimediacontrol\simplemm.ocx to c:\windows\system
c:\robotech\progressbar\progresscontrols.ocx to c:\windows\system

3) RobotechRPG.EXE is the file you want to play the game

RobotechGame (http://www.iridianherbaltherapy.com/Robotech.zip) (4.8mb)

My mate has done a maverlous program while learning how to code. His project.......................

EXCEL SNAKE

Unfortunately I don't have it on me at the moment but I will post it in the next day or so.

It runs really smoothly (uses either mouse or keyboard to control the snake).

He is currently working on EXCEL TETRIS and has plans for a side scrolling platform game too.

It is amazing what you can do working in a call centre when your internet access extremely restricted and you have nothing else to do.

Not done in programing class, but I'm one half of this team....

We were too busy to finish it without outside help or funding, but we're (slowly) going to finish it anyway.
I'm off to search for things I made in class now!

What kind of environment do you use when developing for GB(C)?

I didn't do any progaming myself, as I suck hardcore, but my man Molasses used C with some gameboy specific libraries. If you want more information, send an email to the address on the site, he'll get it and tell it like it is.

Still GB(C) is dead now. Try these boys out for better stuff:
