Side exiting exhaust pipes were outlawed for road use in Australia in 1998 so getting one of those is Aus could be hard, that hideous rear end seems to be based partially on having Side pipes, changing it to rear exit pipes would requir a moderate amount of re-styling.

How many ways can they reskin a Tuscan?

Yeah, that rear end has all kinds of ugliness going on. A proper straight through exhaust would have been more efficent, and that cover over the mufflers and the clear spoiler don't look like much of an aerodynamic aid, as much as something that just generates drag.

I test drove a couple of TVR's quite recently.

While they are huge fun to drive (if you can ignore the dodgy brakes), the build quality is still abysmal. Think Skoda pre VW and you would not be far from the mark.

The fact that these cars start at around 100k Australian and bits still fall off, makes them untenable in my view.

That and the still lingering, faint whiff of chest wig makes these cars which could be so very good, nothing more than poster fodder for 13 year olds.

No thank you Mr TVR. :(
