I have 2 x 8 minute video footage of my kids Rock Eisteddfod performance - I need it converted to some format which I can add to the website and the rest of the kids at school can download it.
I have neither the equipment nor the inclination to do it - so does anyone out there have the means to do this for me quickly and cheaply?

Darn, Sorry I can't help you as I don't have a video capture card :(. My house is all digital.
Most vid cards these days have VIVO (video-in, video-out). It's fairly simple to do.

So Dogg - which part of this sentence didn't you understand???
Is there anyone out there who already has the video hooked up to the computer - and has the software and has the knowledge to do this with the minimum amount of fuss??

Well its obvious you're not all that computer savvy. And rasputin thought you need a video capture card. So i thought maybe you didn't know most ordinary video cards come with video in.

I can do it if you want (even if i'm a bit far away). I've been digitising taped stuff for a while and am very familiar with the process.
I'd suggest Spingo, but he has fallen under the spell of ZGeek (ie got himself a chix0r) so he's out :p
