Head of Mortgage Systems

A new role has become available in our Information Technology & Facilities Management Division.
Reporting to the General Manager, Information Technology & Facilities Management Division, this position is responsible for managing the operational support of the Interstar mortgage management systems. This is to be achieved through reviewing existing production and operational support measures, making recommendations and implementing solutions in accordance with current and future business needs.
The successful applicant will be degree qualified with a proven track record in providing mainframe production support. Financial services experience, specifically Mortgage management, will be highly regarded. The person will also possess strong problem solving skills with an ability to perform under pressure.
IT Finance & Procurement Administrator
• Sydney
The Information Technology & Facilities Management Division is seeking a Finance and Procurement Administrator to support the Head of IT Finance. This person will be primarily responsible for invoice processing, procurement and asset management functions.
The successful applicant will be highly organised with a minimum of one year’s experience in accounting and procurement. You must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
It is essential that the candidate be a team player, naturally enthusiastic and organised. Working under pressure, you must be able to plan and prioritise your work, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.

IT Support Engineer

A new role has become available in our Information Technology & Facilities Management Division.
The purpose of the role is to support Challenger’s business objectives by providing efficient and prompt first and second level technology support. The role includes daily helpdesk support, logging calls on the Challenger helpdesk and where appropriate escalating issues.
Key to the position:
• Excellent knowledge of Windows 2000/ XP workstation, MS Office 2000/XP, workstation tools and antivirus software in an enterprise environment
• Knowledge of email and internet based applications
• Knowledge and experience of hardware maintenance and support
• Basic knowledge of IT security principles
• Proven analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong client focus

Software Analyst/Programmer

This position is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of applications used by the business in the Interstar, mortgage management area. The primary focus is to analyse, design, program, test, implement and document changes to the mortgage management applications.
The successful applicant will possess excellent business/systems analysis, design and coding skills. You will enjoy working in a team environment that focuses on the client. A willingness and enthusiasm to contribute will be evident in your previous experience. Experience in the financial services industry is desirable.

Team Leader Senior Software Engineer
• Melbourne based
A new role has become available in our Information Technology & Facilities Management Division.
Reporting to the Head of Mortgage Systems, this position is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of applications used by the business in the Interstar mortgage management area. Additional responsibilities include assisting the Head of Mortgage Systems with managing application development projects as well as mentoring team members to develop their skills.
The successful applicant will be an expert in MS technology in particular VB.Net, VB, COM, MS Access, Office Suite and SQL Server. Strong business/systems analysis, design and coding skills are essential to the role. You will also be client focused, committed to quality management and results orientated with drive and initiative. Experience in the financial services industry is desirable.
