A CACHE of mortar shells leaking an unknown fluid have been found in Iraq, and tests are under way to determine whether they contain chemical agents.

It is possible that they contain a biochemical compound which attacks the central nervous system of it's victims. The other possibility is that the 'shells' are tins of green pea soup which have lost their labels.

Tests continue, here (http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,5744,8366624%255E1702,00.html)

"Last month, an east Texas man pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon of mass destruction. Inside the home and storage facilities of William Krar, investigators found a sodium-cyanide bomb capable of killing thousands, more than a hundred explosives, half a million rounds of ammunition, dozens of illegal weapons, and a mound of white-supremacist and antigovernment literature."

While the US are busy looking for imaginary weapons of mass destruction in iraq, they have a bunch of white supremacists fuckwits running around texas with a cyanide bomb a motherfucking Weapon of Mass Destruction.

Danish troops have found dozens of mortar rounds buried in Iraq which chemical weapons tests show could contain blister gas.
The Danish army said the 36 120mm mortar rounds had been buried for at least 10 years.

Blister gas, an illegal weapon which the ousted Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein said he had destroyed, was extensively used against the Iranians during the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war.
...
“However, this will not be confirmed until the final tests are available,” it announced in a statement following the initial examination of liquid leaking from the weapons.

Results of final tests were likely to be ready in about two days.

OK so if it is mustard gas, it's no big deal. It was buried for 10+ years and long forgotten. Just some left over rusting ordance from another era, when the US supported the 'regime' even though it was known that they were using these weapons. In fact they sent them many biological agents and 'dual-use' technologies to bolster their capability.

And its another false alarm.

CAMP EDEN, Iraq (AP) - Tests by Danish and American experts indicate there is no chemical warfare agent in mortar shells unearthed in southern Iraq, but conclusive word will only come from a lab in Idaho

Remember the 2001 Anthrax attacks? There has been no evidence of the letters ever coming from outside the country. The anthrax was mixed with silica to prevent clumping. Mixing it with silica is less effective than mixing it with bentonite. Bentonite mixing is an Iraqi method. Mixing with silica is a method that the US government experimented with in 1960's. Most likely the person sending the letters was very familiar, or even maybe a part of those original experiments.

Last year an ex-military man was caught and charged with selling classified documents to white supremacist Kirk Lyons. The media spent a whole 2 seconds on it and then just moved on. Kirk Lyons was never charged.

Japan's subway chemical attacks were done by domestic terrorists using sarin(they also tried ricin first). The biggest threat of chemical attacks in the US comes from within.

Sodiumcyanide is listed in the "Compendium of Common Pesticide Names" so it is apparently use as a pesticide. I know that it is also used in metal refining and plating. Heres the kicker. They caught him before he could do anything with it. He is headed for a long restful stay in Miriam, sitting in a cell for 23 hours a day, no TV or radio, no magazines or newspapers, the only contact with the outside world his lawyer. Well that's enough lilting wistfully.

It's not so much the red neck, yahoo white supremisist that scare me, it's the well educated professional ones that do. They are the ones who talk stupid ones into doing shit and come out looking clean.

Yeah, thats most likely the kind of person who is behind the anthrax letters. Someone would have to have access to the kind of anthrax that was used. Either it was someone sympathetic to the cause who passed it on/coordinated it with someone else, or it could be just a single person who had access to it and figured it could not be tracked back to him.

Right now is the perfect opportunity for non-Islamic terrorist groups to make an attack against us because they could easily mislead the authorities/public into thinking it was another alQaeda related attack.
