if you havent heard about the supposed time traveller from around the turn of the century then just read all about it in the link...if anything it provides an interesting read
when i read about this last january i thought it was one of the best hoaxes ive seen, cause "john titor" posted pics and answered nearly every question without creating any blatant loopholes in his logic. but when i think about it now there are a lot of things happening that seem to provide legitamacy to his "hoax." he predicted that mad cow disease was going to be a huge epidemic and that it was going to increase in severity in 2004ish. had someone told me in 2000 that that was going to happen i wouldve laughed, but the US just recently saw its first case of mad cow disease and mad cow disease stories are becoming a thing i see on the news and the internet frequently.
i really dont know what to think about it now and i kind of think it is a possibility, especially if bush is re-elected and his power-hungry administration is allowed to continue parading around doing what they please.
id especially like to talk to a mod/admin of one of the forums he was posting at to get an ip address, state/city, or possibly even a street address.
thoughts?

John Titor is a person who wanted to convey his idea's of the what he thinks should be employed in society, and he obviously wanted to do this in a way that attracts attention. Which he done, succesfully.

Can you tell us the foods that are unsafe now? Is there anything we can do to prepare for the war you are describing?
(40) I tried to consolidate your questions into a basic list. I hope this helps.
1. Do not eat or use products from any animal that is fed and eats parts of its own dead.
2. Do not kiss or have intimate relations with anyone you do not know.
3. Learn basic sanitation and water purification.
4. Be comfortable around firearms. Learn to shoot and clean a gun.
5. Get a good first aid kit and learn to use it.
6. Find 5 people within 100 miles that you trust with your life and stay in contact with them.
7. Get a copy of the US Constitution and read it.
8. Eat less.
9. Get a bicycle and two sets of spare tires. Ride it 10 miles a week.
10. Consider what you would bring with you if you had to leave your home in 10 min. and never return.

Like kyuss said, he could just be a survivalist telling a tale, in which case it's certainly a ripping yarn.
I guess we'll have to wait for the 2005 civil war to be sure. Bring it on.

I don't think the civil war of 2005 will be like the civil war of the old days, it will be more political and there will be assassinations etc, not front line wars.
the World War of 2015 is what we have to worry about, I don't think Australia will have to worry about having to ride to neighbours houses etc. I don't think we will be attacked, I hope they cover it well on TV.
Although it was a good read, and It is very cool how everything tied together, I'd think someone who was trained by the government would be instructed not to interfere with the past. The internet is the quickest media to get any news out through, and if this time traveler had any knowledge of the time that he was sent back to (which i'd assume he did) he'd know that if any of the things that he told us came true, his words would be all over the news, people would start taking actions against this happening, therefore TOTALLY changing what the future was to become, maybe even eliminating the time travel device he used to get back here, which would also lead to a paradox, if he had told us and everything had changed than he wouldnt have even been able to come back and tell us this.....unless of course you take into effect the multiple universe theory, in which any changes are made another path in the universe is made, a totally new universe in which these changes are made.....ok i'll stop rambling

I only saw this website last night for the first time, so it's funny this thread should pop up now.
Anyway, Kyle, you watch Donnie Darko too often.
I think it's pretty cute what that guy did, and it was a good idea. He also knew how to quit when he's ahead, something not common these days. Hmmm, maybe he isn't of these times????

Haha, no i really wasnt basing any of it off of Donnie Darko, my researches in time travel and the possibility of it began before the movie, I just happened to stumble upon it before that.....I watched this really cool series on NOVA about time travel and Quantum stuff...that's where I got a lot of my info

he did say somewhere that the reason he feels ok telling us about it has to do with our "worldline" being just one of billions, because supposedly there is a worldline for each choice and outcome of that choice, which is somewhat supported by quantum physics. so i guess he doesnt care enough to preserve OUR "worldline."

on a more positive note, he doesn't appear to be a complete lunatic, brushing off the racists and homophobes (ie, the usual white-supremacist militia type)
