Fearless and Mordeth trip to QLD....

Hey all....

Just thought I might spread the word that 2 NSW based zgeekers (myself and Mordeath) will be embarking on a journey like no other (well maybe like a few others). We have both recently obtained our full motorbike license and are taking the plunge to see if 2 little 250cc motorbikes can make it to QLD and back in under 10 days.

We will be leaving sydney this saturday morning and returning 10 days later.

The point of this post??? To hopefully meet up with any zgeekers that may live on the east coast between sydney and brisbane.

Recon we are going to take about 2-3 days to get up there so if there are any zgeekers who may want to join us for a few (yeah right... like it'll just be a few) drinks let us know so we can plan to be in your area.

Also if there is anyone with a spare couch/floorspace/half empty cupboard you would be willing to let us sleep in that would most generously rewarded with gold (and by gold I mean beer).

Sham you're not making it all the way to Cairns. It's only another 1,600km or so from Brisbane!

I would try and meet up for the first leg of the trip, but you're probably leaving earlier than I'll want to be up by.

You two shoudl get yourself involved in the ZGeek Cruise Mk 3 when it happens.

if I was taking dads bike I might consider cairns (tis a nice big triumph 900) but on 250s I recon we are stretching it going to brisbane.

Utop, where abouts are you (I am guessing QLD somehwere), PM me if you don't want it in the thread. Either way I will make sure we meet up.

Thingy.... Personally I would like to bugger off ASAP but Mordeath likes his sleepy time so it probably won't be early (I recon we will leave the sutherland area around 11 am saturday). tell me if you think you will be up for it. And I will definately be in for the ZGeek cruise MK3 (is that the super hyper racing edition???).

I'm on the inner northside of Brisbane in a suburb called Albion, but I'm willing to travel to the other side of the city if that's where the two of you end up staying.

So here we are in sunny brisbane.... well brisbane anyway.

Staying in a backpackers in central brisbane (near the transit central.... Utop u better check your PMs to get my number so we can meet up at some stage.

Trips been great so far (for those who are reading this thread but not posting in it).... Hopefully the weather gets a bit better (bike riding in rain at 110kp/h is not fun).

Anyways... the be beer to drink and other stuff to do (hopefully, tuesday night in brisbane)...
