I bought my friend a ticket for his birthday, and am wondering if I'll be available to go too.

It's been moved twice - first it was @ the Old Church in the Valley, then the Winery, and now its somewhere @ the gold coast.

RockingHorse (on adelaide st) have a number of $35 tickets left if anyone is interested, and gooble warming in west end (next to trash video, another quality establishment) should be getting them in next week.

You guys heard their latest CD, Converting Vegetarians Since 1996?

It's great, it has two CDs, one, their usual type of chance, and the other, called "The Other Side" more sort of ambience trance. I picked up a copy for $AUS20 when i was in Israel. I've almost ruined the cd from listening to it too much.

Fuck my legs/arms/feet are tired, and my gastrointestinal system will never be the same after so much BASS!

I was a little disappointed to have to wait so long for infected mushroom, and by the time 2:30 finally rolled around I had been dancing for a couple of hours, been out and grabbed a coke from maccas, and started to get used to the whole 'insane amount of bass' thing. As a result, they didn't have the impact that I would have liked them to have.

Having said all that, it was a fucking awesome event/concert/all-night rave, and i suprised myself by joining in after a little while to the writhing, sweating bodies that filled the main floor.

However, I didn't see anything that even remotely resembled a Salted Chipmunk - although the only reference I actually have of any sort of chipmunk is from that terrible tv show or movie or whatever it was, Alvin & the Chipmunks. Horrific.

But I digress. I enjoyed it a great deal, and am about to go to bed just now. Might edit + add more when I get up this arvo.

That was the best show i've seen, i've wanted to see these guys for years, and that was absolutley insane.

The best part about it was that the majority of the stuff they played was brand spanking new. they only played about 6 songs that were old ( < converting vegetarians)

The first 6 or so songs were fucking insane. I loved every minute of it and want to go to sydney to see them again tonight.

I was located up the back of the dancefloor most of the night, had a red england soccer jersey on and dancing like a spastic :D
