Have had this bastard trojan for a while now. Have done all the registry clean up stuff, but it has infected or created a file called system32.000 or system32.exe.

My question is can this file itself be deleted, or does the computer require this file to live?

Any help would be appreciated cuz i'm virus free except for this bitch, which has been pissing me off.

Serious answers only please.

It should not be needed, and it's a filename used by a number of trojans and worms to do their nasty stuff.

When in doubt, rename the file, and see how you go. If things go fubar, you can always rename it back.

For further reference, your OS details and the location where the files go will generally help people give more serious and accurate answers. Garbage in, garbage out...
