Alright, my title might be a little misleading but I've been seeing the 'fave sci-fi' thread going for awhile and it has made me think of the books I've been into.
I started thinking of those books you read during those turbulent years when a bit of sex was enough to keep you into it. However there are also decent books that throw a bit of spice in the action.
The series and author I'm throwing forward fits, in my mind, in the second category. I find him to be a reasonably well researched writer who can create decent characters. Now he's not awesome by any means, hell I picked up almost the entire series for $3 a book in Target a few years back but I enjoy them...
They are the Nicholas Linnear Novels written by Eric Lustbader, sometimes Eric V Lustbader depending how old it is.
You may begin questioning my sanity now :P but come on forward and admit your own literary vices.... unless you actually read Mills and Boon in which case :swear:
