Has anyone had this error before. It is only happening for a single user, either on their local Outlook or their Citrix version. The server is Exchange 2000 SP3, on Windows 2000 SP4.
Any ideas, help or suggestions would be great, thanx...

What action is being performed that causes the error?

Simply opening Outlook, as I mentioned, either the local client or via Citrix.
I have looked at the rules, there are no rules set up for the user, go figure, yet another obscure error message...

the only thing i'd be able to suggest would be permissions on their mailbox or maybe out of space for a temp/swap file on the drive where their profile is stored.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have checked these and all is well.
Permissions are fine for the mailbox
There is space limitations but the user is well within these.
Still the error occurs.
I have had a look at Outllok Web Access, it does not happen there....if that's any help?

Go to Tools, Options, Rules wizard and edit the rule that's causing the error to see what its trying to do.
My guess is that the user has set up a rule to move a certain type of message (eg. from a certain sender or with keywords in the msg) to another folder or pst, and that folder no longer exists.
The fact that it doesnt happen in OWA suggests it's a client only rule, so there's a good chance there's a pst involved.

As I mentioned before, there are no no rules running on the client, either locally or on Citrix.
Not only are there no rules running, there are actually no rules at all.
