Hi there guys

Need some advice.

I have approximately 25 17" CRT (various branded) monitors that I wish to sell shortly but I need to get rid of them fast so places like Ebay ain't going to cut it.

Do you guys know of anyone that would be able to take them off my hands pronto?

Thanks all.

do you need to sell the whole lot together or what?
I may be interested in 1 depending on what you want for it and where you're located etc

I'm in Brisbane and interested in one (maybe even two) ... although the postage might be too much. As far as places to sell the rest, try some ex-office auctions and see if they're willing to sell them for you.

Actually it just says Sydney.

Bleh, why do so many people have to put useless locations in?

I would prefer to get rid of them in the one go, as I need the funds to buy more newer/modern monitors.

I'm also going to sell them for $100 a pop.

Count me out. When the monitor on the "family" PC goes, I'll charge them $100 for my current 17" Hitachi flat CRT (model CM621F) and buy myself a sexy 17" TFT.

Take them to an auction house (ie not an online one). Unfortunately - I don't know any in Sydney (cos I don't live there) - but pretty certain you could negotiate to sell them, as auction houses are always looking for inventory.

I'd buy one also if they're $100. Any chance of me getting one?

Pickles Auctions are great. I've bought stuff from them on many an occasion, but i'm not sure if they're into buying from you to onsell to the public.

No harm in calling them tho ;)

$100 is a lot for a second-hand 17" monitor:
