Haven't made the file yet, but alot of free hosts with unlimited space have an individual file size limit of 2meg, this would probably excede that, I might try other formats but basically it's about 2 minutes of footage & I'd like it to be of reasonable screen size & quality.

Most ISP's usually include some webspace with their accounts. Do you know if yours does? I am with iinet and they provide 30MB of space, which has come in handy for transferring largish files to friends & family.

If you only need short term hosting for the mpeg I may be able to help you out....although obviously this would be dependant on the clip not containing the missing beastiality portion of the Paris Hilton video and/or attracting 1000's of leechers ;)

Anyone know of any good hosting that is cheap?
I am looking for about 200- 500MB storage and about 3GB+ bandwidth a month, but not too expensive (just for personal use so don't want to fork out too much).

Any help would be appreciated.

This is what ZGeek is hosted on, and the couple of websites that I've designed are/will be hosted on it, and are fast, reliable, and cheap to run.

The basic package is $10 a month for 200mb with 2gb bandwidth. Next one up is $25 a month for 500mb with 5gb bandwidth.

Oh, just a note: if you are looking for somewhere to host warez then 1337.as is not for you.

a friend of mine runs www.rack64.com and i get hosting from him, 2 gigs of storage, 4 gigs of monthly transfer for 12$us a year, plus unlimited email addresses, forum hosting, and all kinds of server stuff that i'll never end up using.

i gave him 20$ a week ago, and that's going to cover hosting and a domain for a full year. a damn good deal if you ask me.
