I heard of a program that will rip a DVD, cut menus or compress extras then plug into nero for burning. Anyone know the name of it?

If not, what progs do you use to back up your DVD movies?

If no one can think of the one program that does it all I will continue with dvddecrypt > dvd2one > nero but I would love to use the one program to do it all.

dvdshrink, easy to use. If you go to doom9.net you'll find a tutorial for it too.

It's under Guides, DVD/miniDVD, backup guides, dvdshrink.

There's a link to the software as well.

It's really easy once you have a go. You can just keep the movie, remove different audio tracks (ie. french, spanish), same with subtitles.

On my pc it does the whole job in about a half hour, start to finish.

Also it allows a preview of each section as you go, so you can work out what to keep etc.
