As has been mentioned in the channel a bit, there's a need for a Sydney #zgeek LAN. Not necessarily for playing the latest games, but a social, nerdy, get together. We'd have to find somewhere with adequate space, someone with a 24 port switch (you know you have them lying around somewhere!) and preferrably close to stuff like a 7-11 and/or Fast Food outlets.

Alcohol could also be a part of this.

a) my distance from you all, you probably don't want to all drive down to wollongong
b) my distance from stuff like maccas. the nearest one that'll be open 24 hrs weekends is ~10km. nearest servo isn't too far though. not within walking distance.
