Has anyone else been having trouble getting onto z-geek today???
I cannot access Zgeek at all via my normal link or by doing it via typing it into my browser (IE6).
The strange thing is that when I do it via an anonymiser I can get to the site.
I'm starting to get paranoid!
HELP! please...:-(

Probably a dead router between your ISP and the server that ZGeek runs from, the 'anonymiser' can obviously get a route.

PS: I haven't found any other site I cannot access yet, just Zgeek!

Just wait, it will probably be back shortly, unless there are sinister forces at work here.

Out of interest you could go --->Run cmd [enter] tracert www.zgeek.com [enter] and see what the trace route tells you.

I did..
I have been getting zgeek outages in 7-8 hour blocks, and this is trying from four different locations between adelaide and gawler.

Mine was from UK! if you need it go here..http://www.deathskitchen.com/tools/quickbrowse.html
and I found the 'Guardster' anonymiser the best. It allowed me to connect & read but it was hellish to post.
PS. hope you have a popup killer as guardster has a 'few' :(
If not, this is my fave & free http://software.xfx.net/~bruce/
PPS. the rest of the Deathskitchen site is fun & worth joining ;)

Looks like someone misconfigured some routes. Those two routers (sntcca1wcx-pos1-0.wcg.net and sntcca1wcx-pos7-1.wcg.net) are playing tennis with your packets until they expire. I'm afraid there's nothing you can do about it unless you find out who maintains them and send them a helpful pointer.
P.S. You can also copy the text from the command prompt window. ;)
