Has anyone had hands on experience with the Level One (http://www.level1.com/) brand of network gear?

Saw them advertised in APC magazine recently and liked the look of their combo switch/wireless/router/ADSL/print server thingies. Feature list and build quality seems OK, so I'm considering one as an alternative to the usual Linksys/Netgear/D-Link stuff.

Any useful input appreciated, including recommendations for other gear (which you have actually used) that might fit the bill.

Basically I am looking for the following:-

Essential:
802.11g wireless (with external antenna connector)
4 port switch
NAT router
ADSL modem

Highly desirable:
USB print server
Serial port for dial-up fall back
SPI
VPN

Perhaps I should also add:-

Critical:
Reliable!

This is just for home use on my little 3 PC / 2 printer network, but I do like to tinker thus the request for a few extra features for me to play with.

All of your essential items, plus outbound VPN support can be met by most wireless routers. I use a Linksys WRT54G which has been almost perfect. I won't buy brands I don't know anything about, so "Level One" won't find their way onto my shopping list for a long while yet.

Cisco recently bought Linksys, which I think says good things about their gear.

The other functions are less commonly found in cheap wireless routers, especially serial ports for automatic dialup as a fallback.
