Sitting at work, bored as hell, so thought I'd have fun with the forums, and this is what I achieved! It hasn't been Photoshop'd, I just really am bored! Plus the conversation on the Farenheit 9/11 Thread has ceased for some strange reason.

I think my boss has forgotten I work here, and as a direct result I have not been given any work since late last week.

Work is always slow, Id get another job, but this one is too good to give up for now! :D

Went for a long lunch without someone else who was feeling bored and unproductive.
Got back.

That's my problem, work is slow and boring and usually nothing for me to do, which might sound cool, but really isn't. The problem is that it's a job that pays well and lets me get a away with a fair bit!

Im in a similar situation, I work here part time when Im at uni- its bloody flexible since I turn up when I want (between classes :) ) and now Im on holidays Im here almost full time!
Damn IT work, for a uni student it pays well and is flexible but if the servers and client machines hardly ever break down it just isnt fun! If it wasnt for the internet and thus ZGeek Id be in trouble!

That's what I was like until i finished uni last year. Working fulltime makes you appreciate weekends so much more. At least though I don't have to take work home with me, when I finish at 5, that's it, I don't have to think about work until the next morning, and at 5 on friday that's it for the next 60 odd hours.
And yes, zGeek and Slashdot, oh and Bash.Org are such good ways to waste time.
I'm just really sick, I've been stuck inside the last few days...I had a chance to go out on my friends boat all day today. I'm so pissed i'm sick. Stupid Flu.

Methinks I wont take up a career in IT upon leaving uni, there may be many more interesting aspects to it, but meh Ill use the Business half of my double degree.
Yeah, my iPod at least supplies a bit of entertainment. It would also help if those retards who know nothing about IT would accept our suggestions instead of ignoring them and then wondering why things go wrong!

That's what i did today, ended up doing a years worth of filing. I did it because i need the storage space for our after work beer supply. Fucking work always gets in the way of beer

does anyone remember the website written by a guy in the states who worked for a company that had forgotten he still worked for them? He was getting paid but didn't work for any area and had no work to do. I read a year or two ago and it was really funny

Sometimes I feel like that at work, but then they remind me that they know i work here by dumping 5 projects on me at once after 2 weeks of nothing. Oh and of course all projects had to be finished the day before I was given them and are all top priority. But hey, it wouldn't be a business if it wasn't like that!

I'm always bored too. I'm at work when I'm on ZGeek from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm and me being an American means you guys are just waking up as my day comes to an end. It sucks because they're aren't that many posters, so I get stuck reading stuff from yesterday or something. When there is people on, it's usually people arguing with Noddy and I've lost interest in reasding that jargon. Boredom sucks, especially at work because you feel like you're in prison (minus the ass fucking).
I've been reading a lot of of zgeek recently, but there was a stage when I would sit and read through bash.org, I click random now on bash.org and seriously only half of the quotes i read now I haven't read before. Except they still won't accept my submissions! Grrr...

I got it from another sites forum. It was written by a croatian guy and he was saying how this woman he sat next to on a train was trying to pick him up. I think it's really funny but i think i may change it soon to something from Futurama. I bought the first three series last week, so many classic lines
I was bored at work, but my internet is now monitored so no posting on Zgeek, or they'll take it away altogether, damn you lazy IT people, don't you have anything better to do than monitor my internet usage.
