Here's one for Nodbugger!

An American (who shall remain nameless) decided to write a book about the world. So he drove his SUV through a downtown trailer park in Moab, Utah. Having done this extensive research, he proselytised his major finding: people in other countries should make all their roads wider. Especially in Antarctica.

Well, knowing me I am wrong but I think the top one looks like phillip Island in Victoria. but thats my guess...

The bottom one could be both Australia and Antarctica - it could be in the Australian Antarctic Territory, which, I believe, is technically part of Australia.

Well it was really posted for everyone's entertainment but I wasn't feeling particularly inspired that night, so sorry about the Rove-esque lack of punchline. I thought I'd leave that to someone else. :D
