Here is the list of people who won the game of 'find the geeks in the skanky inner-city pub':

sagit, Tintin, BlueBoy, Holster, sutter, Mrs. sutter, sutter jr., sutter's mate (met up later for the latter parts), flow_aus, Mrs. flow_aus & pleed.

Meeting up at Young & Jackson's, we footled about there before seeking out somewhere to find food. We eventually did this (I had to be torn away from a hawt chix0r I saw on the way, unfo) and purchased many varieties of dumplings at a Chinese restaurant in Tattersalls Lane near Chinatown. After much discussion about the forthcoming Global Meet and Fran, we departed. sutter & sutter's mate ceremoniously left for a lan game of Warcraft III, leaving the rest of us to go to the Elephant & Wheelbarrow pub. Arriving there, we were introduced to their most reasonable compulsory $2.50-per-item cloakroom 'service', a prettyboy band playing Third Eye Blind covers which produced distinct eardrum distortion, and the quality clientele of that establishment. Then I said goodbye & went home. The celebrations are likely continuing apace. Photos were taken at Y&J's, expect to see them in the galleries soon. Fun was had by all. :D

Bah regardless. I made a mess of myself .. Turning up to work at 1pm is never going to be good. Drinking at 4:30 the same day is going to fuck you.

The restaurant was called Camy Shanghai Noodle House. I recommend it to everyone in Melbourne (or coming to Melbourne).

The Elephant and Wheelbarrow band weren't that bad either. Typical pub fare.

Following on from Tintin:
Holster, sagit and myself arrived back at my place around 1ish. A game of Halo was played, which I dubbed the 'Halo Special Olympics' due to the quality of gaming.

I crashed fairly early and awoke to hear a small group of gibbering baboons plotting to draw on my face as I slept. Helpful hint: You're always three times as loud as you think you are when drunk.
