Situation: One mac owner
One Pc owner
Desire: To communicate over the internet via voice with video as secondary
Musts: Easy to use,
Program cant interfere with normal use of both mac and pc
Program must not want a hole the size of nsw in the firewall
Notification of calls
MUST BE FREE
Plus: File sharing
Audio sharing (play mp3's to each other)
Video sharing (play vids etc)
Whiteboard
Now so far we have tried KDX, iVisit, AIM, iChatAv with little or no success. iVisit has been the best so far, we have acheived audio and video over it, but alas audio only one way as it doesnt support line in mics, also it requires you to upgrade for more than 2mins of video.
Anyone know of a free way to achieve the above?
(i checked the voice over ip thread but it wasnt dealing with the specific mac to pc issue.)
OR does anyone have a pc they can give him?
