Finding a mod

Please nominate who you would like to be a mod for this forum. They do also have to post that they are willing so I suggest PM'ing them first.

I will run this thread until tomorrow night for nominations, then we vote. I will also have final say in who we vote for due to what I expect from a mod :)

I think it needs to be someone who will give decent advice... That way they can sort through the bs advice that is sure to be given by some here and make sure the question asker is being actually helped.

That said I agree with Holster or Cassa.


P.S. Maybe a male and a female mod? Are some questions likely to require advice from one gender over another? Then again, since everybody can give advice, that may not mean another mod is needed anyway... Plus are there even any qualified men at this place??

Being the one with the idea of putting this forum up, i think it is the right thing to do to give me the power to also run this forum, but other than that i think Cassa would be good and like i said before 2 heads are better than one. (but that all depends on who your dealing with). Anyway i aint fussed i already got what i wanted... Excellent (doing finger movements: Mr Burns Style).

Now back to trying to take over the world....

I nominate myself, I have been in a steady relationship for many years now, and have managed to deal with each problem as it has arisen. Also, a lot of irl and net friends always come to me for advice because I seem to give good advice or something. But, on the other hand, I have never been a mod of these forums, or any forums, so I'd probably be shit at it. I just know that I have some sense when it comes to relationships. Also, I tend to have nothing to do during the day anyway. :P

Yeah I don't think removing mods from elsewhere is going to help anything...remember all the problems it caused last time.

I think maybe then two mods who may have a slightly different angle on things might be a good idea then. And I am quite willing, none of my friends have died from following my advice yet so I have that as a recommendation.

Maybe you should try and sort things out with her first. What is going on for you to no longer feel that much for her anymore and want a mod instead anyway?

Her advice is balanced, insightful, wise, and well thought-out. I'd even go so far as to say that her common-sense advice is pretty much the best on ZGeek.

When it comes to relationship advice, better to take experience over popularity any day.
