Right at this moment i am in need of a very big hug. Not just a friend hug, not a parental hug, but one of those hugs you get only from the opposite sex... you know the ones i mean...
So tell me, is there things (apart from sex) that you can only get from the opposite sex...
oh and a hug wont go astray :)
::hug:: hmmm....well there's a certain type of music that i'd want to sing to and be sung to from the opposite sex. There are movies that I'd only want to watch with the opposite sex (or else I'd get sad). The good thing about this is I'm sure you can find someone to give you a hug or whatever you want. Promise!

Yes, but it depends on the person of the opposite sex.
Despite the old "mean are bastards" and "Women are bitches" bullshit. People are people, some cunts, some fantastic and a lot in between (a persons gender is not as big a part as it often is made up to be)....
Why do you need a hug???

I know what you mean.
I love doing something special for your partner and just seeing how they react. Makes both people feel special and wanted. It's not the same feeling with anyone but the one you love.

All I wanted was a special cuddle! :D
I find there's a certain feeling of connection that you can only get from the opposite sex, with people you're close to. I can't really explain it..maybe I'm mental :p but it's something I do feel.

hugs rocks !
just so long as they arent extended hugs and I start getting a chubby :embarased:
I find the opposite sex always feels better to open up to, its probably why all the zgeekers I regularly chat to with messenger programs are female :D

I had one girl who said I gave good hugs and loved when I hugged her. She said it made her feel better every time she got one. She's the only girl I wished I still talked to.

Hugs are great
another thing that is great from the opposite sex, is when you make eye contact and straight away you can tell just how much they care about you...

Yeah, hugs rock... its like sharing D&Ms with your partner... its not the same as when its with mates or parents or whatever. Just being able to sit with someone and chat for hours on end is great...
i agree - hugs are the best !! they make everything ok :)
i agree with Cassa in that there is a special connection you can feel with the opposite sex, particularly your partner. i guess that is a result of them loving you for who you are, and not wanting you any other way... u feel comfortable being yourself...

Hugs are good. Except for geek hugs. They're soaked in self loathing and sexual frustration. Never accept a hug from a geek. Unless they are happily married.

I just wanted to quote that. It's not a phrase you see too often.
I like to think i'm a pretty good hugger, but if you want to put me to the test, i'd be happy to volunteer. :)
Opposite sex? Opposite sex?! Damn, so that's what I've been doing wrong....
:D
Hugs rock like crazy, but there's things other than the sex of the hugger to take into account. Body size has something to do with it too. I've found when a comforting hug is needed its best to have someone big to hug. You don't want an errant bony bit to interrupt the comfort :)

I find that what I miss most, from being single for 2 years... is companionship.
I can't get it from friends... I can only get it from someone I'm intimate with...
They've seen me naked and pull those faces during sex... there is just something about that which makes me feel comfortable in their presence...
I miss it a lot. To be able to sit there with someone... and just be happy in their presence. Even if they're playing a computer game and i'm just watching them.
Obviously this is all stuff I can't get from a female... because I don't swing that way
Also, when I had a male who was my best friend... he was there for me with the 'comfort hugs' because he knew that when i'm upset, there is nothing that will cheer me up as much as a hug...
I don't hug my female best friend... even when everyone is saying their goodbyes and we'll hug everyone else... we just don't hug.
*sigh*

You mean I have no right to talk about you and your boyfriend playing 'Hide the Salami'? No right to talk about you and him playing 'Lickity Split' 'til your toes curl and you see stars? No right to talk about you and your boyfriend having a party in your panties?
I'll let you in on a little secret, slutcakes... under those clothes you're wearing right now...

Its medium type hard.
The hard part is finding someone i actually am attracted to, have things in common with, don't think is 'creepy' (which is a category I lump most guys who I suspect like me into), is good in bed, doesn't mind that I'm a moody bitch... etc.

True, It is hard to find someone that you are attracted to and is interested in you at the same time whilst not being a freak nowadays.
I gave up actively looking, and it managed to find me.

Perhaps if you were to investigate the possibility of no longer being an angst-ridden teenager, you'd find all the solace you require. Or alternatively, try writing a poem that includes the word "miasma". Go on, do it, you'll feel a lot better.

That's an opinion, not a reason. Just because you seem to think that doesn't mean you need to insult her. I know this is a shocking notion, but you could just choose to not read the thread.

I don't have a problem with his right to say it, I just think most people should have better things to with their time than insult someone who has done nothing to them, and isn't hurting anyone else. If he wants to be a dickhead, that's his right. I just wish he'd go and do it somewhere else.

Why can't guys just put aside their differences to make others lives easier?

It might be that the boyfriend sees that particulay guy friend as the most significant threat to his relationship with you, for whatever reason. But then, i'm not exactly a relationship expert, so I may be way off base.
Why can't guys just put aside their differences to make others lives easier?
