hey guys, i played paintball today & had the best time ay. Its been about 2 years since my last game.

But lemme tell ya, i got absolutely hammered. Iv got welts on my back chest & arms that are huge. Right now as I sit in my computer chair chatting with you fine ppl, i can barely sit properly & its an awesome feeling.

I reckon we should organise a Zgeek paintball session or something.

Anyway now its time to go to the club, get hammered & forget i even got hit.

Contrary to popular belief it doesn't hurt much unless you dress badly (just weary baggy clothes under the fatigues they give you and it softens the hits a lot).
getting hit is pretty STINGY.
later on you get bruising and sore muscles but it's not as bad as people usually make it out to be.

Its a shame the retarded gun laws in australia prohibit the ownership of any semi auto or automatic device that propels objects.......... That includes paintball markers.

BUT aparently the laws are about to change (acourding to a local paintball field owner) and with a gun licence and a reason to own one (competition or regular game play) we will all be able to enjoy the seperation of paintball markers from guns, thus being able to own sucj impressive items as above!!!

Yes I can. I'd personally just have a wry smile when seeing someone wobble around with that, heavily encumbered and after neutralising him with just one round from a gun that cost a fraction of what that stupid thing does.

That said, I've played once and it was quite fun.

I live in the UK. I was 13 when I 1st went paintballing. Are you sure the law is 18 in AU?

Sydney has a lot of paintball venues, most are pretty good. I've played and enjoyed the game many a time. One occasion was a mate's bucks party, where instead of camoflage fatigues we dressed him in a white sheet and a cardboard printout of Osama Bin Laden's face. Laffs galore.

It was my brothers bucks party so he had to wear a tutu out on the field, even tho I was on his team i had to get him in the back.

Today im in so much pain, i have huuuuge bruises all over me. The worst being on my back, ill post some pics when I get em.

Iv been to a few other places, but "The Paintball Place" at Kulnura is by far the best I have ever been to.

That minigun is the sort of thing you would plant next to your flag or on high ground on a tripod and never move. You'd have to have balls of steel to go storming across a field or obstacle course toward one of those in a prepared position...

Mind you at the rate it goes through paintballs, it wouldn't be used much unless it was Kerry Packer who was buying the ammo.
