What computer games have you played recently (in the last year or so), that you have completed from start to end without cheating (significantly) ?

Games I can think of are: halo, simpsons hit and run, call of duty, medal of honour, tron2, prince of persia sands of time, jedi academy, indepedance war2, freelancer, (more later when i can remember)

Notable ones I started but just couldnt be stuff finishing: doom3, fry cry, star wars knights of the old republic, lionheart, ground control2, warcraft3, painkiller, NFSU

I completed Vice City and all I got was a lousy t-shirt! Actually paid for this game as well. Only looked at the walkthrough when I couldn't find the last 3 packages and a couple of stunt jumps.

Return of the King was a piece of cake, odd since it actually came with a pizza, not a cake. Still play it every now & then for a bit of hacknslash.

downloaded Starship Troopers: Terran Ascendancy from Home of the Underdogs earlier this year, finished it. Liked it.

nearly finished Sands of Time but got stuck at 81% (round elevator room with lotsa big fuckers) and haven't picked it up again yet.

forked out 30 bucks for Enter the Matrix, got bored after 3 levels.

Currently up to level 6 of Manhunt, but been using walkthrough guides (I payed for it, I can do what I want).

Completed Far Cry in about 2 weeks.

Playing The Sims 2 at the moment. Hella addictive but you get sick of it after 2-3 days straight playing it, heh.

Ive completed, Doom3, FarCry, Jedi Academy, NFSU, Battlefield 42 and V, Knights of the old republic, Warcraft3+ Frozen Throne, Ground control2, Medal of Honor+all the addons, Unreal Tournament 2004, CS-Condition Zero, Splinter Cell: pandora Tomorrow, GTA3 and Vice city, V8 supercars2, HaloPC, Unreal2... Thats all I can think of for now that I have finished.

The only games I have played from start to finish without cheating are MechWarrior 4: Vengeance, Solitaire, and Minesweeper.

I suck at the games.

The only game I've cheated on in the past 6 years was for the final boss of beyond good and evil. Tough muthafucka. Other than that, every game I've played (A LOT) I've beaten without cheats

Just finished BREED. I was looking forward to the multiplayer aspect of it, but it seems to not work(gamespy's fault). I dont like games that are "powered" by gamespy

Actually i've beaten quite a few, i just can't remember any off the top of my head.

Hang on, one comes to mind. NFS6:HP2. Finished it just a few days ago for the second time, this time on a pc with a decent video car. makes it soooo much easier.

the games i regulary play dont really have an end, i bin playing the sims 2 but b4 that the sims (all but 2 expansions), half life based games (ie cs, cz, dod, etc) civilisation 2, c$c generals, bf 42, +dc

but as you see only one or 2 ave a real ending

I'll just stick to the last 12 months, since I've finished a shedload of Nintendo games over the years. So, from October 2003 (not coincidently when I built my new PC) to present day I've completed:- Black Hawk Down, Max Payne 2, XIII, Far Cry, Return To Castle Wolfenstein & NFS Underground.

In that time I've also started Chrome, Simpsons Hit & Run and GTA Vice City, but got bored with each of them and gave up before reaching the end.

Gee....writing 'em all down makes me realise how busy I've been :cool:

Dusted off my old Fallout 2 CD and fired it up again. I'm at New Reno. Gonna get some decent weapons, clear out the Broken Hills, take on NCR, find the vault, then hightail it over to San Fran to pick up some ub3r power armour

These are the games I have recently finished, I've probably forgotten a few games:

Star Control 2, Unreal II, System Shock 2, Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell 2, Rise of Nations, Call of Duty, Emperor: Battle For Dune, C&C Generals, Thief III, Hitman 3, Max Payne, Max Payne 2 and The Dig (The Dig was excellent).

Star Control 2, what a great game. I finished it last year again after many years.

Yeah, but ive played it through every level with bots.... Ok havent FINISHED but have played to death.

Whats the big deal anyway, there are tonns of games with no real ending, that doesnt mean you havent finished 'playing them'.

Trying to finish Manhunt but I quit for the past four months and suck again at it. Now I am attempting to play Nam 67 *which kicks serious ass* and Spiderman II. Problem with Spiderman II is I am at a shit level and just want to quit.

the only game i ever completed was Tom Clancy - Rainbow Six, took me ages to complete on-and-off and that was like 4 years ago lol, now i dont have any games on my computer, thinking of investing in a gamecube this coming january as the prices drop.
