Yes, for the following reasons:

1) Most polls in the forums do not have titles that describe the poll, so you get random polls like:

Chicken Wings and Custard?

[] Yes
[] Spingo
[] Broken Glass
[] PICK ME! PICK ME!

2) Voting takes you away from the main page, and if that happens to be in a tabbed browser and you accidentally close the poll tab you've actually closed the main tab grumble grumble fart. (Of course, since I did this four hundred thousand trillion times I now just open the poll title link in a new tab).

3) Most polls seem to have been started some time mid 14th century.

4) I like to complain.

But there are worse things on the front page - those bloody over-shortened Most Recent Forums titles for one.
